Weekly Update 05/22/2023 – Week #5
It was a decent day at the golf course, right before our Memorial Day Holiday Weekend. The course is taking shape as they continue to cut and roll the greens. Some of the tee boxes need a little love, but all in all things are shaping up nicely. They are rolling fast and staying true. We only had three rounds in the thirty’s this week compared to six last week. Sub Denny Benvenuti posted the best round of the night coming in with a 1 over par (36). Denny was on a roll right from the start, posting pars on his first 6 holes and then draining a birdie putt on #16. Back to back bogeys kept him from parring the course. Very nice round Denny. Jordan Murray and Charlie Lehman were the only others to post under forties rounds as they come in four over par (39’s). Jordan and Charlie both notched four pars and each had a birdie in their rounds. Very nice shooting guys.
