After cancelling the original week 1 (4\/17) due to yes, wintery, rainy and just too darn cold conditions, we <\/b>returned<\/b><\/span><\/span> on to the course on 4\/24. Now, it wasn’t snowing, although the temps were a balmy 45 degrees with a little wind to keep things pretty chilly for the round. The league came into a warm clubhouse half frozen but week one was completed and for the most part everyone was glad it was done and over. We had our opening day scramble and I have listed the teams below and how they finished.<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Team #7: Gary Kwapik, Ziggy Zuege, Wes Howell & Joe Provo finished in a tie for first at (-4) \/ (31). <\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Team #2: Charlie Lehman, Jason Steele, Ryan Stay & Trevor Smith(abs), finished tied for first at (-4) \/ (31).<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Team #3: Jordan Murray, Johnny Garrity, Danny McLatcher & Mike Haas finished tied for 3rd at (-2) \/ (33).<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Team #4: Rob Knapp, Mark Steiner, Mike Donovan & Bob Hennigan finished tied for 3rd at (-2) \/ (33).<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Team #6: Mike Oliver, Denny Brisson, Brandon Gestner & Joe Crescenti finished tied for 3rd at 2 under par (33).<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Team #5: Ray Ressler, Zack Plechaty, Bill Carver & Carl Brent finished 6th at 1 under par (34).<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Team #1: Dave Maddox, Billy Mason, Gary Haack & Bashar Hasso finished 7th at even par (35).<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Team #5: Ray Ressler, Zack Plechaty, Bill Carver & Carl Brent finished 6th at 1 under par (34).<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Week #2 (5\/1\/2023) wasn’t that much better weather conditions wise. Unfortunately, due to the wet conditions on the course, it was cart path only the entire round. A lot of scores certainly dictated how the conditions were not that favorable for golf, but again, we got the round in. It was chilly but it didn’t rain. Zach Plechaty turned in the best round of the night with a very nice 1 over par round of [37]. Zack nailed back to back birdies on holes number 8 and 9. He drove the green on #8, approximately a 334 yard drive draining his first birdie. On #9, his drive carried over the water and ended up in the sand trap next to the green. He proceeded to chip it on to the green and notched his second birdie in a row. Very nice shooting Zack. Jordan Murray also nailed back to back birdies, the first one on hole #6 and the second on the par three #7. Nice job Jordan and pretty decent round coming in with a (41).<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
