Week 6 was another decent week for golf. The course is in nice shape and the greens have seemed to pick up some speed. The Maintenance crew have been periodically top dressing and rolling and they seem to be running pretty true and flat. They have also begun to maintain the sand traps and we will play them each week if they continue to keep them in decent shape. With the nice weather, the scores have seemed to show that as well as five players posted under forties rounds. Gary Kwapik, Charlie Lehman, Brayden Steele posted 2 over (37’s) and Jason Steele & Kevin Grubb posted (39’s).  We have a new Money Leader this week as Larry Grubb posted another closest to the pin, this one on #12 and also doubled up with a birdie on the hole. Nick Kinney only lasted a week after he got the only skin in week 5 to vault to the top. Nice job Larry.  Gary Kwapik has been wining about not winning any money and finally jump up the ladder into 6th place as he nailed back to back birdies on holes #13 an #14 to collect two skins.  All in all it was a nice night for golf.  <\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n
