Golden Hawk Golf Club \u2013 <\/strong>Fluid Systems 2026 \u2013 <\/strong>Weekly Update \u2013 Week #13<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Another great night for golf with nice temps and a little breeze. Thank you Mother Nature for your kindness to the league as of late holding off the rains and the extemely high temperatures. Well, Ziggy Zuege and Dave Dutton both took 12 points against their opponents in last weeks matches and remain in a tie for first place. Johnny Garrity climbs into 3rd as Kevin Grubb slides down one spot and is now tied with Kelly Strahan for fourth place. Still in the mix are Gary Kwapik and Mike Oliver are tied for 6th place at the time being and trail by 5 points out of fourth place. Joe Provo and Paul Goyke have an outside chance if they take some points in the next few weeks. They are only 8 and 9 points respectively out of 4th. We are now only 3 weeks away from our final position round to determine the top four players that will play for the League Championship. A lot of competition was displayed last week with several very nice rounds posted. Only two players posted rounds under 40’s in last weeks matches. Ziggy Zuege posted the best round of the night shooting a one over par round of (37). Charlie Lehman a couple of strokes back him with a 3 over par (39). Kudos to Chris Hunt who took 13 points in his match last week, it wasn’t his best round of the season, but good enough to take down his opponent. This will be the last week of Skins with Handicaps. Good luck to all in the next few weeks. Play well, but more importantly, Have Fun. <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

NOTE: Mark is working on the outing venue for our year end outing. He will discuss it this coming Monday. Our last week for the Closest to the Pin prize money award for the year will be August 24th.
