Week 3: Summary for the night
For the second week in a row, Mother Nature made it a little more difficult to play golf, but not impossible. We started out in a light rain, but it did subside after a very short time and we were able to finish the round, somewhat dry. The unfortunate thing was that we had to walk to our shots as the course was too wet to drive on the fairways and in the roughs and it was under Cart Path Only. I hope that everyone’s golf shoes stayed as dry as can be despite walking through a very wet course. Chad Woolman led all golfers into the clubhouse for both flights with a very nice four over par [39] . Chad played very well notching three pars and a birdie on #18. Chad play’s in the ‘B’ Flight. Very nice round considering the conditions we played in Chad.
The second best round was posted by Bill Marsack, who plays in the ‘A’ Flight, coming into the clubhouse with a 5 over round of (40). Bill nailed his birdie on the #1 handicap hole on the back #17, to go with 4 pars. Nice job persevering and shooting a nice round in the tough conditions that evening Bill.

The course only gave up (4) birdies in our the second week of competition.
