Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Updates 07/25/2024. Week 10.
Week 10: Summary for the night: 07/25/2024
Well Mother Nature gave us a break last week and it paid off with several nice rounds. John Grewe & Dan Wicker continue to play well and remains in first place increasing their lead to 7 points over Andre Viger & Ray Ressler and 8 points over Bill Marsack & Kirk Cejmer. The top continues to stay tight. Dan Wicker & Ray Ressler came into the 19th hole with the best rounds in the ‘A’ Flight posting two over par rounds of (38). Jason McKeown led the ‘B’ Flight into the clubhouse with a very nice four over par (40). Dan D’Amato three stokes off pace with a (43). Nice rounds and shooting guys.
Our outing is scheduled for the 21st of September at Bruce Hills Golf Course. The cost will be $75.00 per player. We are planning a barbecue dinner, lunch at the turn and a reverse shotgun start at 9:00AM. After dinner we will have the league presentations and a special drawing for Four Tickets to the Detroit Tigers Baseball Game on the 26th of September against the Rays. So, put your teams together and plan for a great end of the season outing.
We are playing the Back Nine this week and the Closest to the Pin’s will be holes #12 & #16. The ‘B’ Flight will be trying to get close on #12 and the ‘A’ Flight will go for closest to the pin on #16. Good luck to everyone this week. Have a good round but remember to first and foremost, have fun. Current closest to the pin numbers on #12 is (112″). No measurement inside 12′ on #16 so far.
