Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Updates 08/01/2024. Week 11.
Week 11: Summary for the night: 08/01/2024
It was a warm one last week, but it was dry, so no complaints here. Nice rounds and shooting guys. Ernie Danos had a fantastic round last week, leading the ‘B’ Flight in with a 5 over par round (40), his best round so far this year. Sub Mike Rajnish one stroke more with a nice (41). Mike Marihugh posted the next best round coming in with a very nice (42). Dan Wicker and Andre Viger shared top round honors with (39’s). Ray Ressler a couple strokes higher with a (41). Nice rounds by all.
Our outing is scheduled for the 21st of September at Bruce Hills Golf Course. The cost will be $75.00 per player. We will be having Barbecue Chicken and Barbecue Ribs, Baked Potato, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Corn and a Brownie for dessert. Lunch at the turn (Hot Dog, Chip & a drink) and a reverse shotgun start at 9:00AM. After dinner we will have the league presentations and a special drawing for Four Tickets to the Detroit Tigers Baseball Game on the 26th of September against the Rays. So, put your teams together and plan for a great end of the season outing. Please give Ray
We are playing the Front Nine Week #12. The Closest to the Pin holes will be #4 & #7. The ‘B’ Flight will be trying to get close on #4 and the ‘A’ Flight will go for closest to the pin on #7. Good luck to everyone this week. Have a good round but remember to first and foremost, have fun.
