Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Updates 08/08/2024. Week 12.
Week 12: Summary for the night: 08/08/2024
It turned out that we could at least drive on the fairways and roughs in week 12. Team B5 (Jeff Schultz & Jason McKeown) move up into first place in the ‘B’ Flight and Team A2 (Andre Viger & Ray Ressler) move into first in the ‘A’ Flight. We have four weeks remaining in the season. Good luck to all. Jason McKeown leads the ‘B’ Flight in with a nice (41) followed by Nate Hood who posted a (44). Dan Wicker & Ray Ressler lead the ‘A’ Flight in with three over par rounds of (38).
Our outing is scheduled for the 21st of September at Bruce Hills Golf Course. The cost will be $75.00 per player. We will be having Barbecue Chicken and Barbecue Ribs, Baked Potato, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Corn and a Brownie for dessert. Lunch at the turn (Hot Dog, Chip & a drink) and a reverse shotgun start at 9:00AM. After dinner we will have the league presentations and a special drawing for Four Tickets to the Detroit Tigers Baseball Game on the 26th of September against the Rays. So, put your teams together and plan for a great end of the season outing. Please give Ray your team members. I will be collecting the money this week through Week #16. If you are paying by check, please make sure they are made out to Ray Ressler.
We are playing the Back Nine Week #13. The Closest to the Pin holes will be #12 & #16. The ‘B’ Flight will be trying to get close on #16 and the ‘A’ Flight will go for closest to the pin on #12. Good luck to everyone this week. Have a good round but remember to first and foremost, have fun.
