Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Updates 08/15/2024. Week 13.
Week 13: Summary for the night: 08/15/2024
The night was very nice for league play and finally, no cart restrictions for the course. The weather was nice and the scores show it as well. Ray Ressler in the ‘A’ Flight posted the best round of the night shooting a three over par (38). Dan Wicker right behind him with a four over (39). Dan D’Amato & Nate Hood lead the ‘B’ Flight in shooting matching (45’s). Good round guys.
Our outing is scheduled for the 21st of September at Bruce Hills Golf Course. The cost will be $75.00 per player. We will be having Barbecue Chicken and Barbecue Ribs, Baked Potato, Cole Slaw, Dinner Roll, Corn and a Brownie for dessert. Lunch at the turn (Hot Dog, Chip & a drink) and a reverse shotgun start at 9:00AM. After dinner we will have the league presentations and a special drawing for Four Tickets to the Detroit Tigers Baseball Game on the 26th of September against the Rays. So, put your teams together and plan for a great end of the season outing. Please give Ray your team members. I will be collecting the money this week through Week #16. If you are paying by check, please make sure they are made out to Ray Ressler.
We are playing the Front Nine Week #14. The Closest to the Pin holes will be #4 & #7. The ‘B’ Flight will be trying to get close on #7 and the ‘A’ Flight will go for closest to the pin on #4. Good luck to everyone this week. This is the last week to receive the balls for closest to the pin, but not for the Closest to the Pin for the Year. Have a good round but remember to first and foremost, have fun.
