Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Update 06/26/2025.   

Week 8   (06/26/2025) 

We got the round in despite Thursday’s weather forecast. Initially, we were on the Tee Box getting ready to tee off group one when the course was closed due to a lightning strike in the area. So we went into the restaurant and then the rains came. The positive note was that we were not on the course when the rains came and our clothes at least stayed dry (maybe not our shoes though).  We had quite a downpour that probably lasted the best part of 35-40 minutes that left the course very wet. Despite the wet conditions, we were able to get the round in. Two players posted the best rounds of the night. Warren Hood and Andre Viger both came into the 19th hole with rounds of (40). Nice rounds considering the conditions of the wet course.

We will have our second scramble on the 10th of July. This will be 4 man best ball scramble. We will take the best drive and everyone will play their shots from that position and post the best two scores. We will not have league play on the 3rd of July and will resume play on the 10th of July with this scramble as the 19th of June was a rain out. The second position round will played on the 17th of July.
