Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Update 07/24/2025.
The weather was a bit on the warm side, with higher humidity that kept everyone sweating the entire round. There wasn’t much of a breeze, but what came was a certainly appreciated. We at least didn’t have to contend with any rain. Team #8 (Al Rossi and Larry Grubb) have built up a 10 point lead over 2nd place Team #10 (Ernie Danos & Steve Fleck). Our best posted round of the night was turned in by Andre who shot a one over par round of (36) on the back nine. Two players posted nice rounds of (41). Ernie Danos and Ray Ressler. The lower forties were very popular this week as 9 players posted low forties rounds. It was all in all a good night and another round we were able to get in. It was a stingy week for birdies on the back nine as only two were posted in the rounds. Mike Marihugh and Andre Viger were the only two to drain birdies in their rounds posted. Nice shooting by all.
