Week 9: Summary for the night: 07\/18\/2024<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Well Mother Nature has surely had her way by keeping the golf course wet. We were able to play, but like several times previously it was cart path only. We had several very nice rounds posted in week 9. Jason McKeown led the ‘B’ Flight in with the best round, posting a nice (44). Andre led the ‘A’ Flight in with a 3 over par round of (38). Dan Wicker and John Grewe continue to lead the ‘A’ Flight as they climbed the ladder over a four week period, averaging 25 points a week. We now have a tie for first place in the ‘B’ Flight as Nate Hood and Dan D’Amato faltered a bit in week 9 only taking 13 points as Mike Marihugh and Angel Woodruff took 22 point to move into a tie for first place. We have 7 weeks remaining in the season and it’s a tight race in both flights.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our outing is scheduled for the 21st of September at Bruce Hills Golf Course. The cost will be $75.00 per player. We are planning a barbecue dinner, lunch at the turn and a reverse shotgun start at 9:00AM. After dinner we will have the league presentations and a special drawing for Four Tickets to the Detroit Tigers Baseball Game on the 26th of September against the Rays. So, put your teams together and plan for a great end of the season outing<\/span>.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We are playing the Front Nine this week and the Closest to the Pin\u2019s will be holes #4 & #7.  The \u2018B\u2019 Flight will be trying to get close on #7 and the \u2018A\u2019 Flight will go for closest to the pin on #4. Good luck to everyone this week. Have a good round but remember to first and foremost, have fun. <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n
