Men\u2019s Christian Golf League \u2013 Weekly Update 07\/09\/2026.  Week #8<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

We were very lucky to get our round in as the weather forecast predicted showers most of the afternoon. The weather was pretty decent throughout the round. Our last group beat the sudden storms that came in as they just finished up their last hole. We got it in and that’s what counts. Well, we have a new leader after last weeks round as Team #10 (Dennis Wnuk and Chris Offer) have overtaken Team #7 (Dan D’Amato & Nate Hood) , jumping up from third to first. Dennis and sub Brad Carron put a whipping on their opponents taking (29) points. Dan and Nate drop into 2nd, 3 points behind Dennis and Chris and Team #2, Andre and Ray drop into third. We had several very nice rounds turned in last week. Brad Carron, subbing for Chris Offer posted the best round of the players, posting a 1 over par round of (37). Eric Esterline and Ray Ressler posting rounds of (41). Bill Marsack and Dennis Wnuk nice rounds of (42). All in all it was a very nice round by everyone. <\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

On a very sad note, Andre Viger, Ray’s partner, took a fall on Friday the 10th of July at his Son’s house in South Carolina and has fractured his hip and is now out for the season. I spoke to him on Sunday as he relayed the bad new to me from the hospital in South Carlolina. Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery. This the the second time he has fractured a hip. Our prayers are with him in his recovery.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n
