Week 4: Summary for the Night
The night was near perfect with the temperature and conditions for the night. Mother Nature also allowed the course to dry up and was in very nice condition. The fairways were dry and the greens were running on the quick side and running flat and true. The Maintenance Superintendent is doing a great job to get Golden Hawk back into what it was 4 years ago. Our appreciation goes out to him and to his maintenance crew.
There were several nice rounds posted in both flights in week 3. Ray Ressler led both flights into the clubhouse with the best round of the night, coming in with a 1 over par [37]. Ray found three birdies along the way to help him post a very nice round. Andre Viger was a couple strokes off the pace coming in with a 3 over par (39). Dave Benson led the ‘B’ Flight players into the 19th hole with a (44). Very nice shooting by all in both flights.

The course was more generous this week and gave up (7) birdies in our the fourth week of competition.
