Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Update 08/13/2026. Week #12
We had another good week to play golf in. We are getting close to the end of the season and the leaderboard is tightening up. The “Boys of Summer” Team #7 (Dan D’Amato & Nate Hood) have an 8 point lead over new 2nd place contenders, Team #2 ( Trevor Vallus and Ray Ressler). Third place is now taken over by Team #8 (Jason McKeown & Eric Herppich) only 11 points out of the top spot. Team #12 ( Dale Bjordahl & Eric Esterline) move up into fourth place trailing by 15 points. Team #10 ( Dennis Wnuk & Chris Offer) drop into fifth place and are no way out of contention for the top spot. With as many points that are available each week, any team can vault up the board at any given time. Two players lead the way into the clubhouse with 3 over par rounds of (38). David Pyche and Sub Josh Opolski. Very nice rounds. Dale Bjordahl and Jason McKeown a couple of strokes behind them with very nice rounds of (40).
I am waiting for a reply from Brad at the Myth if the 26th of September or the 3rd of October is available and to get a cost per player for the outing.
UPDATE ON ANDRE: Andre relayed to me Wednesday the 19th that he is doing much better. He sees his surgeon in two weeks to tell him if he can put weight on his hip. He is in good spirits and the pain has subsided for the most part. He relayed that he will be coming home the first week of Sept, even if he can’t put any weight on it at that time. Just keep him in your prayers please.
