Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Update 06/18/2026. Week #7
We were blessed with another decent night to play golf in. We had a tremendous amount of rain Wednesday night, and despite that, the golf course management opened the course to a 90 degree cart rule. That certainly save the league players a lot of extra steps in the round. The leader board has tighten up some as Team #7’s (Dan D’Amato & Nate Hood) lead has dwindled down to 5 points over 2nd place Team #2 ( Andre Viger & Ray Ressler) and 9 points over 3rd place Team #10 ( Dennis Wnuk & Chris Offer). They were sporting a 12 point advantage up till last week. Nate Hood was absent and Sub Trevor Vallus filled in for him and played decently shooting a (44) and taking 10 points. Dan D’Amato had his fair share of problems in his round and only received 5 points. Andre Viger and Ray Ressler posted the best rounds last week, both shooting rounds of (39). Jason McKeown posted his second round of (41) in consecutive weeks and continues to play well. Dennis Wnuk continues to show great improvements in his game as well despite his on going recovery from both hip surgery this year and should surgery last year. Good shooting by all.

We have also added Nate Hood to the Rules Committee this year. He is a welcome addition to the administration for the league. Continuing as the ruling committee are Andre Viger, who is the Assistant League Director and Bill Marsack who is also a member of the Rules Committee. Again, if there are any league issues throughout the season, feel free to address any of the acting members of the committee.
