Marc Blair is experiencing back issues. Fred Darga has been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. He is going to have surgery to have it removed. Paul’s Dad will be having back surgery. Paul is welcoming in a new baby into their family. The baby is healthy. Ray is battling a left knee injury that is also complicated by swelling in both his legs now. Any and all unspoken requests from league members and friends.
UPDATE ON ANDRE VIGER as of 08/11: I spoke to Andre around 12:30 today. He is now in a Nursing Home for therapy. He is doing good and the pain level has subsided. He is in good spirits and He is doing therapy daily, but is now battling the Insurance Company that is trying to early discharge him from the facility. He doesn’t really have anywhere to go as his son is over three hours away and he will need continuous therapy to get back to walking. The prognosis is that he should be up and about by September 2nd. That will also be the day that they remove the pins from his finger that he broke in the fall. Please continue to keep him in your prayers that the Insurance Company doesn’t get him discharged before he is able to commute back to Michigan.
