Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Updates 07/27/2023. Week #13.
Week 13: Summary for the night: The rains seemed to let up and allow us to get a round of golf in after two weeks in a row that we were rained out. Yes, the course was very wet and because of the amount of rain we had, it was a cart path only night. Yes, I think most of us got a little more exercise this week than all the weeks combined. LOL. We had two under forties rounds in last weeks play. Dan Wicker led the ‘A’ Flight in with a very nice 2 over par (38). Dave Benson led the ‘B’ Flight in with a 3 over par (39). Great shooting guys. Team #A1 (John Grewe & Dan Wicker) regained first place last week, taking 25 points from their opponents. Team #A8 (Dan D’Amato & Nate Hood) have a little work ahead of them as they now trail them by 5 points. Nice shooting by all in last weeks league play. Good luck to all this week and play well. But the most important thing is, Have Fun.
There were several decent rounds turned in for week 13 from both squads. Keep up the good shooting all.
