Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Updates 06/27/2024. Week 7.
Week 7: Summary for the night:
The weather has certainly been co-operating with the league since the rainout in June. We had several nice rounds posted in both flights this week. We are going to have our annual year ending golf league outing at Bruce Hills Golf Course. The date set has been Sept 21st. We will have a reverse shotgun start at 9:00AM. 18 Holes of golf, lunch at the turn and a two meat barbecue dinner after golf. We will have our league presentations after dinner. We will also have a special drawing for Four Detroit Tiger tickets for the 26th of September. So please put your teams together for a fun and enjoyable day at the golf course. Once you have your teams set, let Ray or Andre know so we can put you on the outing roster.
Dan Wicker takes the top round honors for the ‘A’ flight coming in with a round of (37). Dennis Wnuk takes top round honors in the ‘B’ Flight posting a very nice (46).
We are playing the Front Nine this week and the Closest to the Pin’s will be holes #4 & #7. The ‘B’ Flight will be trying to get close on #4 and the ‘A’ Flight will go for closest to the pin on #7. Good luck to everyone this week. Have a good round but remember to first and foremost, have fun.
