After much deliberation by the rules committee, we have decided to ‘not play’ from any of the bunkers on the course at Golden Hawk. This does include the fairway bunkers as well. Most of the time they are either still wet from poor drainage as well as too many stones (rocks) through out the bunkers. Please remember to play your shots from behind the bunkers if you end up in them, keeping the bunker between you and the green. This will remain in effect the rest of this season and will be reviewed in the spring of 2017 to see if they will be put back into play.
