Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Update 06/11/2026. Week 6
The conditions for the night were exceptional and it appears that we have more daylight now as the days get longer. But, that doesn’t mean to slow down. Remember, that we need to play ready golf at all times. Your place on the course, is behind the group in front of you. If you cannot see them in the fairway or on the green, then you are behind. Another note to take in consideration is that if you have won the hole even with giving strokes, you should have the opponent pick up his ball and add one stroke to the card and move to the next hole. This will also save time in the round. Meanwhile, with the nice conditions we did post some very nice rounds last week. Andre Viger comes in with the best round of the night, posting a 3 over par round of (39). Jason McKeown a couple of shots back with a very nice (41). The ‘Boys of Summer’ (Team #7-Dan D’Amato & Nate Hood) got slowed down some after three straight weeks with 21 or more points, only took 17 points in week 6, but still has a 12 point lead over two teams tied for 2nd. Team #2 (Andre Viger and Ray Ressler) moved into a tie for 2nd place with Team #5 (Fred Darga & Mike Marihugh). All in all, it was a very nice night for golf.

We have also added Nate Hood to the Rules Committee this year. He is a welcome addition to the administration for the league. Continuing as the ruling committee are Andre Viger, who is the Assistant League Director and Bill Marsack who is also a member of the Rules Committee. Again, if there are any league issues throughout the season, feel free to address any of the acting members of the committee.
