Week 9 – 7/23/2026

Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Update 07/23/2026.  Week #9

The weather was pretty decent throughout the round. hopefully Mother Nature will continue to bless us with some decent weather the rest of the season. Well, Team #7 ( Dan D’Amato & Nate Hood) remain in first place but only hold a slim lead of 3 points over previous leaders #10 ( Dennis Wnuk & Chris Offer). Team #8 ( Jason McKeown & Eric Herppich) moved into a tie with Team #2 (Trevor Vallus & Ray Ressler) and they only trail the leaders by 11 points. We have 6 weeks remaining so, things change  in the blink of an eye. Three players led the way for the best round of the night. Warren Hood, Al Rossi and Ray Ressler all come in with nice rounds of (41). Jason McKeown a shot back with a (42). Good shooting by all.

UPDATE: on Andre Viger condition. After further tests it was discovered that he has suffered a Spiral Fractured, not a hairline fracture on his hip. I spoke to him on Monday the 27th  as he relayed that they had to do major surgery and put a rod in his hip. He is still in a tremendous amount of pain and will be bed ridden for several more weeks. Once he is released from the hospital he will be sent to a convalescent center for physical therapy. He will probably be in South Carolina for at leased the next 5 weeks, possibly longer.  This the the second time he has fractured a hip. Our prayers are with him in his recovery.
