Men’s Christian Golf League – Weekly Update 08/06/2026. Week #11
Hopefully the weather will continue to favor the league. Last weeks round was on the warm side, but definitely much better than rain. The “Boys of Summer” Team #7 (Dan D’Amato & Nate Hood) opened up their lead a bit on 2nd place Team #10 ( Dennis Wnuk & Chris Offer) by 9 points and 10 points over Team #2 (Trevor Vallus & Ray Ressler). There wasn’t a lot of movement in the standings. Team # 6 ( Warren Hood & Jim Turner) moved into a tie for 5th with Team #12 (Eric Esterline & Dale Bjordahl). Team #8 (Jason McKeown & Eric Herppich) jumped up one spot into fourth. We have five weeks remaining in the season. so, there is plenty of time to make a move on the leaders. Our best posted score for last week was turned in by David Pyche with a one over par (37). Pastor Warren Hood comes in with a 3 over par round of (39). Al Rossi with a very nice (40). Very nice rounds guys.
UPDATE ON ANDRE: Sept 2nd he will be possibly be walking on his leg. He is in a nursing home for therapy. He also gets the pins taken out of his finger on the 2nd of September. The Insurance Company is giving him a hassle about discharging him early, but he cannot drive home or even fly in his current condition. His son lives over 3 hours away so that isn’t a very good option for him to have his son come up and get him as his work keeps him busy. Please keep him in your prayers that the Insurance Company will not force a discharge before he can be mobile. He is in good spirits and the pain has subsided for the most part.
