Weekly Update 07/17/2023 – Week #11
Well Mother Nature let us get another round in without any rain. The course was still a bit on the wet side, but we were able to at least go to our balls without having to stay on the cart paths. We played the back nine and we had some decent scores turned in. One of our subs, Andre Viger posted the best round of the night amongst all players coming in with a 3 over par (38). Gary Kwapik was the only other player to post an under 40 round coming in with a nice (39). We have a new leader in the standings as Jordan Murray who was tied with Dennis Brisson has taken over sole possession of 1st by 3 points and Dennis Brisson sole possession of 2nd place in both the standings and on the money leaders board. Dennis moved up 5 spots taking a closest to the pin on #12 and draining the 6 foot birdie. Cudo’s to Branden Gestner who drove the green on #15 and then proceeded to drain a 35 foot eagle putt. Great shot and putt Branden. We will play Skins without Handicap again in week 12. Good luck to all us hackers!!
Just a friendly reminder guys, that the money collected in the 50/50 fund goes to help reduce the cost of our outing at the end of the year to “benefit everyone in the league that is playing in the outing” so everyone’s donation helps the cause, and you also have a chance at taking home half the pot collected that week.
